Formatting and Layout

A finished manuscript is just the beginning. To become a book, it needs a layout that looks professional, functions seamlessly across formats, and meets industry standards. That’s where I step in.

I use industry-standard tools such as Adobe InDesign to create clean, modern layouts that are professional and easily updated. When your manuscript is complete, I deliver a print-ready PDF compatible with major print-on-demand (POD) vendors, including Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Ingram’s Lightning Source and IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, Lulu, and others. I can also provide files formatted for offset printers. If you have the specs, I’ll build them.
Titles I've provided production services for. Samples available on request.
For eBooks, I go beyond conversion by refining the CSS and HTML code to ensure an optimal reading experience. All of my eBooks are W3C compliant, making them compatible with major vendors such as Amazon Kindle, Draft2Digital, Google Books, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo. You’ll receive an EPUB 2.0.1 file optimized for the millions of combinations of devices, operating systems, and screen sizes your readers may use.

Over the course of my career, I’ve contributed to more than 1,000 book production projects for publishing companies and individual authors alike. Whether your project requires a print layout, an eBook edition, or both, I can deliver files that meet the same professional standards as the books you’d pull off a shelf in any bookstore.
